Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd, a multinational engineering design firm, is seeking a Power System Engineer to work remotely from the Philippines. You will provide technical consulting for projects in generation, HV transmission and distribution, and support business growth.

The role requires hands-on analysis using PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Hypersim, handling HV grid connections, substation design, and generating plant systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Demonstrated experience in power system analysis and design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform power system studies in PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Hypersim.
• Manage HV grid connections, substation design, and generating plant power systems.
• Conduct site inspections, provide expert advice, and prepare reports.
• Assist with planning/scheduling and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Provide engineering guidance to the team and ensure compliance with standards.
