Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering systems, HV equipment, substations, and grid connections.
• Ability to prepare and review technical designs, calculations, simulations, and project plans.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify faults and risks.
• Familiar with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, QA, and safety practices.
• Experience supporting planning, budgeting, reporting and tender submissions.
• Attention to detail with accurate records and revision control.
• Effective communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical engineering projects with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Support testing, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostics of HV equipment.
• Design and review electrical systems including substations and SCADA.
• Perform technical calculations, simulations, and design reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field teams, and clients.
• Identify issues, hazards, and risks, supporting corrective actions.
• Maintain technical documentation, test results, certificates, and records.
• Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure compliance.
