Job summary

HireHawk is seeking a dedicated assistant for a Los Angeles-based plaintiff personal injury firm. You will handle scheduling, follow-ups, and file work to keep cases moving, under the direction of a case manager. This is a remote, full-time contract role aligned with US Pacific Time.

Candidates must have 2+ years supporting US law firms, strong English, and be organized with reliable internet and a dedicated workspace.

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years supporting case managers at a US personal injury law firm.
Experience scheduling medical appointments and obtaining medical records.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Highly organized with strong follow-through across multiple active cases.
Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and a legal case management platform.
Available full-time during US Pacific business hours with reliable internet.

Responsibilities

Schedule client medical appointments and maintain treatment calendars.
Request medical records and bills, following up until receipt.
Keep case files organized and current in the firm's case management system.
Track deadlines and outstanding items; flag risks to the case manager.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurers to gather missing information.
Prepare correspondence, forms, and simple status updates.
Protect client confidentiality at all times.
