Job summary

AVI-TECH ELECTRONICS PTE LTD. is seeking a PCB Design Engineer to drive schematic generation, layout, and assembly file creation for complex multifaceted boards.

You will work with Altium, Cadence Allergo and related tools to ensure DFA/DFM conformance and IPC rule application, including high-speed, impedance-controlled, multilayer designs. You will liaise with customers, provide engineering support for load boards and ATE testing, and contribute to fabrication/assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering with at least 3 years in PCB design, schematic generation and layout.
• Strong DFA/DFM understanding and adherence to IPC design rules & constraints.
• Experience with Test Boards for FT/CP testing and load/ATE boards.
• Familiarity with ATE test machine design rules and high-speed/impedance controlled multilayer boards.
• Solid knowledge of PCB fabrication/assembly processes; burn-in boards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure artworks meet customers' requirements and deadlines.
• Administer artwork design sections and liaise with customers regarding design.
• Provide on-site and technical support for load board design and mechanical drawing.
• Support manufacturing group with design and CAD reviews; perform other duties as assigned.
