Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax rules.
• Experience with W-2s and year-end processes.
• Strong Excel skills including pivots and lookups.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Audit employee tax configurations and validate tax rates.
• Review new hires and address changes for correct tax codes.
• Manage and track tax registrations for state/local withholding.
• Monitor system configuration for ongoing compliance.
• Generate client-facing diagnostic reports and year-end readiness.
