Winning Assistants is seeking a Patient Outreach Specialist to support remote scheduling and patient access for a U.S.-based prosthetics provider. You will handle inquiries, coordinate with clinics, and ensure documentation is complete while maintaining HIPAA standards.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple patient cases in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare scheduling or patient access
• Experience handling inbound/outbound calls in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to guide patients through scheduling steps and documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound patient inquiries via phone, email, chat, and text
• Coordinate scheduling for prosthetic and orthotic appointments
• Ensure required information and documentation are complete
• Communicate with physician offices and internal teams to resolve barriers to care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in systems
• Follow HIPAA requirements and protect patient confidentiality
• Escalate complex issues to supervisors when needed
