Job summary

Manila Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead sales growth in the carton liquid packaging sector across the Philippines. You will identify new opportunities, build strategic relationships with stakeholders, and drive revenue growth.

As the first full-time local hire, you will establish the company’s commercial foundation, coordinate with regional teams, and help define market presence in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Proven track record closing deals in packaging, beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.
• Hunter/consultative selling experience with complex decision-making units.
• Experience selling carton systems or related packaging solutions (preferred).
• Established relationships in carton liquid packaging ecosystem (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with beverage manufacturers, dairy producers, and juice processors.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
• Conduct market analysis to identify growth segments, competitive threats, and trends in carton liquid packaging.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans with targets, timelines, and KPIs.
• Negotiate and close commercial agreements including pricing and contract terms.
• Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across functions.
• Represent the company at industry events to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
• Coordinate with regional teams to facilitate customer requirements across time zones.
• Maintain CRM records and provide pipeline, forecast, and activity reporting.
