Job summary

Canonical is seeking an Organisational Development Associate to join a globally distributed team. You will be embedded inside real teams, diagnosing health and management effectiveness, and turning evidence into clear, honest reads.

You will own end-to-end improvements, designing, driving and landing concrete changes with a senior practitioner. You will learn coaching and OD directly from senior practitioners on a fast path to running this work yourself, with travel up to 4 times a year and a

Qualifications

• Track record of leading and organising early in career endeavours.
• Strong grounding in organisational psychology, behavioural science or related field.
• Drive and eagerness to learn; confident to be coached and grow fast.
• Ability to engage with experienced colleagues and discuss change confidently.
• Outstanding academic record from high school and university.
• Up to around two years of experience since graduating.
• Business level written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Embed within a real team to observe day-to-day operations and diagnose what works and what doesn’t.
• Run diagnostics on a team's health and management effectiveness, turning evidence into a clear read.
• Own end-to-end improvements: design, drive and land concrete changes in how a team works.
• Support managers in delivering 360 feedback and translate it into commitments.
• Help build the OD playbook: establish standards, tools and shared language for the function.
• Learn coaching and organisational development directly from senior practitioners.
