Job summary

Winning Assistants is seeking a highly skilled Optometry Virtual Assistant to support front desk coordination and medical billing from a remote setup.

You'll manage high-volume calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance, file claims, and apply ICD-10/CPT codes using Crystal PM and related systems. A healthcare background and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred.

This is a full-time remote role for candidates in the Philippines and Latin America, with daytime hours CT-based.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare/optometry support.
• Virtual Assistant experience in healthcare.
• Must have optometry billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient calls and schedule appointments.
• Improve call answer rate and handle inbound calls promptly.
• Schedule appointments and confirm one day in advance.
• Contact family members on shared insurance plans for visits.
• Check insurance eligibility and copay inquiries.
• File insurance claims accurately and follow up on denials.
• Apply ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Use EMR and billing platforms for documentation.
• Provide remote front desk support.
