Job summary

BizForce is a remote-capable, fast-growing outsourcing company seeking an experienced Ophthalmology Medical Scribe to provide real-time clinical documentation using ModMed EMA for ophthalmologists.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of ophthalmology scribing experience, deep ophthalmic terminology knowledge, and the ability to document OD/OS/OU accurately during US-hours from a remote setup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ophthalmology medical scribe experience.
• Hands-on experience using ModMed EMA for real-time documentation.
• Strong knowledge of ophthalmology terminology and clinical workflows.
• Excellent English communication, grammar and medical terminology.
• Able to document conversations in real time with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit chart preparation and review of prior notes and tests.
• Document physician-patient encounters in ModMed EMA in real time.
• Capture chief complaints, history, exam findings, diagnoses, and plans.
• Maintain OD/OS/OU laterality and document instructions accurately.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, compliance with HIPAA, and physician validation.
