Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support US wound care physicians from a fully remote Philippines-based position. You will transcribe clinical notes, document encounters, and ensure accurate records in our EHR system.

Role requires strong English communication, fast and accurate typing, and a commitment to HIPAA-compliant documentation. Schedule aligns with US Central/ Eastern time; full-time with potential Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong English communication, both written and spoken
• Minimum 1 year of experience in medical scribing, transcription, or healthcare admin support
• Familiarity with wound care terminology (staging, debridement, NPWT) preferred
• Experience with EHR platforms such as PointClickCare, Epic, Cerner, or similar
• Ability to meet documentation deadlines and maintain accuracy
• Must have reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home workspace

Responsibilities

• Transcribe clinical notes
• Document wound assessments, treatment plans, procedure notes, and orders accurately
• Enter all documentation into designated EHR platforms promptly
• Ensure notes are complete and submitted for physician review within required timeframes
• Upload medical records and supporting documents to payer portals as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with physicians and clinical staff in English
• Flag incomplete or missing documentation to the physician promptly
• Participate in regular check-in calls with physician and operations team
