Job summary

Snapscale is seeking a qualified ophthalmologist to provide remote clinical support for a U.S.-based practice. You will review patient charts, evaluate ophthalmic information, and offer input per established protocols.

The role requires licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist status, strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and experience with ophthalmic records in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed ophthalmologist or optometrist.
• Experience reviewing ophthalmology records and medical charts.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; HIPAA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Review patient medical charts and ophthalmology records for completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluate relevant diagnoses, treatment history, medications, test results, imaging, and other clinical information.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information requiring follow-up.
• Provide clinical input based on available information and guidelines.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and compliant with clinic standards.
• Collaborate with clinical and admin teams on chart-related concerns.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and related regulations.
