Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Network Support Technician (Level 1/2) to join our remote technical support team. You will provide remote support for networks, connectivity, Wi-Fi, IPTV, and related systems, investigate issues, perform diagnostics, and own incidents through resolution or escalation.

This hands-on role requires 1–3 years of experience, strong networking fundamentals, and clear English communication.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in Network Support or related role.
Strong networking fundamentals: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching, Wi-Fi.
Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1/2 technical support for network and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity issues.
Use ping, traceroute, nslookup, and remote access tools to diagnose problems.
Troubleshoot guest Wi-Fi, captive portals, IPTV, casting, and related systems.
Check switch ports, VLANs, device connectivity, and basic network configurations.
Identify whether issues affect an individual device or broader network segment.
Respond to customer requests via phone and ticketing systems; document steps and findings.
Escalate complex issues with clear diagnostic information for senior staff.
Maintain accurate ticket documentation and KB entries.
