Job summary

CS Outsource is seeking an experienced Mortgage Virtual Assistant to support US-based mortgage brokers and loan officers remotely. The role requires hands-on knowledge of loan processing, underwriting conditions, borrower documentation, and the closing process, with direct collaboration with lenders, underwriters, and title companies.

Qualifications

• Direct mortgage or lending experience in a US context is required.
• Hands-on experience with US mortgage loan processing and closing procedures.
• Experience working with loan officers, underwriters, lenders and title companies.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage loan files from submission through closing
• Order, coordinate, and track appraisals
• Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation
• Follow up with borrowers regarding outstanding requirements
• Review and help clear underwriting conditions
• Communicate directly with underwriters, lenders, title companies, and other lending partners
• Track loan progress and maintain accurate records
• Update CRM/LOS systems with loan status and borrower information
• Assist loan officers with lead follow-up and cold calling when needed
• Support basic marketing and social media activities, when applicable
• Provide administrative and operational support to mortgage professionals
