Extend Your Team is seeking a highly organized Loan Officer Assistant to support our mortgage team by managing loan files, following up on required documentation, and assisting with administrative and marketing tasks. The role emphasizes proactive customer service and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have experience in mortgage-related roles, familiarity with LOS systems, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Loan Officer Assistant, Mortgage Assistant, Mortgage Processor, or similar administrative role preferred.
• Knowledge of the mortgage loan process and terminology is highly preferred.
• Experience using a Loan Origination System (LOS) such as Encompass, Arive, Calyx Point, LendingPad, or similar is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience working in a remote environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and document management software is a plus.
• Basic experience with Canva, Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn for social media management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Loan Officers throughout the mortgage loan process from application to closing.
• Update and maintain the Loan Origination System (LOS) with accurate borrower and loan information.
• Work closely with loan processors to obtain outstanding loan conditions and required documentation.
• Follow up with borrowers to collect missing documents and provide status updates.
• Communicate with real estate agents, title companies, and other third parties regarding loan progress.
• Monitor loan milestones and ensure files remain on schedule.
• Maintain organized and compliant electronic loan files.
• Coordinate appointments, meetings, and calendars for Loan Officers.
• Prepare and send disclosures, forms, and other loan-related documents as directed.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, email management, and document organization.
• Assist with social media marketing by scheduling posts, creating simple graphics, responding to inquiries, and maintaining the company's online presence.
• Support other administrative and operational tasks as assigned.
