Job summary

ScalableOS is seeking a Microsoft Modern Work Engineer to design, implement, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Modern Work solutions across client environments. This hands-on role centers on Microsoft 365 with strong Intune and Entra ID expertise.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on Modern Work experience, progressing beyond basic administration into implementation, troubleshooting, and escalation support, while guiding junior engineers and service desk teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Modern Work in production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Hands-on experience administering and implementing Intune, including device enrollment, configuration, compliance, and endpoint security.
• Strong working knowledge of Entra ID, including Conditional Access, MFA, authentication methods, and identity lifecycle management.
• MSP or IT consulting experience is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, SC-300, MS-102, or related Modern Work certifications are nice to have but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, and support Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions across client environments.
• Design and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for modern endpoint management, including device enrollment, configuration profiles, compliance policies, application deployment, security policies, and device lifecycle management.
• Implement and support Windows Autopilot for device provisioning and deployment.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, licenses, authentication, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity-related services.
• Support hybrid identity environments and integrations involving Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Implement and support Microsoft Defender solutions and endpoint security capabilities.
• Support Microsoft Copilot implementations and related Microsoft 365 Modern Work environments.
• Use PowerShell to automate Microsoft 365 administration, troubleshooting, reporting, and repetitive operational tasks.
• Provide advanced technical escalation support for complex Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, and endpoint management issues.
