Job summary

Sourcefit is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist - AR & Payment Posting to join a premier medical billing team. You will provide clerical expertise to ensure high-quality patient care while supporting a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

The role works remote, with US-based clients and shifts from 9 PM to 6 AM Manila time, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include timely entry of charges, data accuracy, authorization checks, and payment posting, along with responsive communication

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in US Healthcare billing or provider setting.
• Experience with AR and payment posting processes.
• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to information requests promptly.
• Enter charges from superbills and demographic reports accurately.
• Add modifiers, payer information, and authorization criteria (CPT/ICD-9/ICD-10).
• Process charge batches and reconcile discrepancies across systems.
• Track information requests and follow up with practices.
• Meet supervisor goals for accuracy and compliance.
• Handle payment posting and patient calls; process claims.
