SnappyCX, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing & Referral Coordinator for a part-time, fully remote, independent contractor role. The position requires 20 hours per week, roughly 9:00 AM–2:30 PM CT, four days a week, with Central Time business hours.

The role covers medical billing, referrals, scheduling, reporting, and patient/insurance coordination in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Prior experience with Spectrum Teletrack, Sendata, and Emo Meds is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, medical virtual assistance, or care coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Spectrum Teletrack, Sendata and Emo Meds.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support medical billing and revenue cycle activities, including claims processing and AR follow-up.
• Process and coordinate patient referrals and follow-up on referral requirements.
• Manage patient scheduling, confirmations, and calendar coordination.
• Verify and maintain accurate patient, insurance, billing, and referral information.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding billing and follow-ups.
• Assist with reporting and administrative reports.
• Monitor timekeeping and follow up on clock-ins/outs.
• Answer calls and provide support per procedures.
• Maintain documentation across client systems.
• Escalate issues with stakeholders as needed.
