Job summary

Gabtech Global, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Reconciliation Specialist to manage Medicaid AR for U.S. home care services, reconciling units, claims and payments.

The role requires direct experience with Medicaid billing, EVV, denials management and payer follow-up. Remote work with US night hours; hourly rate Php 267.85.

Responsibilities include reviewing AR aging, resubmitting claims, maintaining audit-ready notes and ensuring HIPAA compliance throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in U.S. healthcare billing, AR or revenue cycle management.
• Direct experience handling Medicaid claims and AR for home care or related services.
• Experience managing claims after submission, including denials, rejections, underpayments and appeals.
• Experience with Medicaid managed care organizations or payer portals.
• Knowledge of EVV requirements and their effect on claim acceptance.
• Experience reconciling authorizations, visits, service units, claims, remittances and payments.
• Understanding ERA, EOB, 835, CARC and RARC information.
• Experience using home care management platforms, EVV systems, clearinghouses and payer portals.
• Strong Excel skills with lookups and pivots.
• GAAP-aligned recordkeeping.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies independently.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review AR aging reports and prioritize denied, unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Reconcile authorized, scheduled, EVV-verified, billed and paid units.
• Compare expected reimbursement with actual payments and adjustments.
• Review ERA, EOB and 835 to identify denial reasons.
• Investigate discrepancies in authorizations, service dates, codes and units.
• Identify and resolve EVV exceptions and update visit details.
• Correct and resubmit claims; prepare reconsiderations or appeals.
• Follow up with Medicaid programs and other payers via portals and calls.
• Document follow-up activity and payer responses for audit.
• Reconcile payments, credits and unapplied amounts.
• Coordinate with billing and operations to fix upstream issues.
• Maintain audit-ready account notes and documentation.
• Prepare AR aging and denial reports; identify patterns for improvements.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and secure handling of PHI.
• Complete tasks accurately within productivity targets.
