Job summary

TLN is hiring 2 independent contractors full-time, remote as QA testers in the Philippines. TLN builds SaaS products, and our QA team is the key to shipping them with confidence.

We’re growing that team and need experienced manual QA testers who can hit the ground running, test web and mobile software carefully, and report bugs clearly. You’ll run manual test cases across TLN’s web-based SaaS products, test on desktop browsers, mobile web, and native iOS and Android apps, log defects with clear

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on manual QA experience testing SaaS or web-based software.
• Strong written English with clear bug reports and updates.
• Experience with a bug/issue tracker such as Jira, Linear or Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing across browsers, mobile web, and iOS/Android apps.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Own devices: a computer plus iOS and Android phones and reliable internet.
• Ability to work 4 to 5 hours a day overlapping Eastern Time.

Responsibilities

• Run manual test cases across TLN’s web-based SaaS products.
• Test on desktop browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), mobile web, and native iOS and Android apps.
• Find, document and report defects with clear titles, steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results and screenshots.
• Log and track bugs in our ticketing system (Linear).
• Test APIs using Postman.
• Give clear written status updates to the QA team and engineering leads.
