Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA experience with both manual and automation testing.
• Proven experience with JIRA, Postman, and Playwright.
• Strong understanding of database testing (DDL, indexes, triggers), API testing, and risk-based testing.
• Proficient in Python-based testing frameworks (e.g., Pytest).
• Experience with Selenium or similar UI automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of data privacy and secure testing practices.
• Familiarity with YAML in test configurations or CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable working independently and in an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test cases across manual and automation scopes.
• Help define and evolve QA approaches, processes, and best practices to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Set up, maintain, and improve automation test frameworks and pipelines.
• Conduct comprehensive database testing including DDL operations, indexes, triggers, and edge cases.
• Perform API testing using Postman and write robust validation checks.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, risk-based, and exploratory testing.
• Document and report defects clearly using JIRA with accurate tracking.
• Leverage Playwright, Selenium or similar frameworks and Python to automate web tests.
• Validate YAML-configured test data and configurations.
