Job summary

The Learning Network (TLN) is hiring 2 independent contractors full-time, remote as QA testers in the Philippines. You will run manual tests on TLN's SaaS products across web and mobile, report defects clearly, and collaborate with engineering teams.

Responsibilities include testing across browsers and devices, API testing with Postman, and providing status updates. The role requires 3+ years of manual QA experience and overlapping hours with Eastern Time in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on manual QA experience testing SaaS or web-based software (3–5 years preferred).
• Clear, concise bug reports and updates in written English.
• Experience with bug trackers such as Jira, Linear or Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing across browsers, mobile web, iOS and Android apps.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Own devices: computer plus iOS and Android phones, reliable internet, remote setup.
• Able to work 4–5 hours a day overlapping Eastern Time with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Run manual test cases across TLN's web-based SaaS products.
• Test on desktop browsers, mobile web, and native iOS/Android apps.
• Find, document and report defects with clear titles, steps to reproduce, and screenshots.
• Log and track bugs in Linear.
• Test APIs using Postman.
• Provide clear written status updates to QA team and engineering leads.
