Job summary

magentIQ is seeking an Automation Support Engineer to troubleshoot, maintain, and support automation solutions within a low-code environment. This fully remote, Philippines-based role collaborates with customers, customer success teams, and developers to deliver reliable automation and scalable solutions.

You will troubleshoot a variety of automation issues across tiers, document improvements, and work with distributed teams to drive platform performance and usability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in support roles addressing technical problems up to Tier 3 with direct customer interaction.
• Experience with API integrations and MSP ecosystem tools (PSAs, RMMs, and documentation platforms).
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and troubleshooting best practices for technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a support environment.
• Excellent collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong independent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 technical support for customer-facing automation solutions.
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex automation issues to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Work independently to scope automation requirements, define success criteria, and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand automation requirements and ensure solutions meet expectations.
• Maintain active communication with clients during testing, troubleshooting, and deployment phases.
• Coordinate with support and development teams to ensure fixes are implemented and aligned with platform best practices.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help customers understand how to utilize in-platform agentic coworking tools to accelerate troubleshooting and automation development.
