Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration or related field.
• Must know Incoterms.
• Experience handling import/export shipments is required.
• Knowledge of shipping processes and documentation is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time, especially remotely.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with Windows-based software and office tools (Word/Excel).
• Excellent organizational skills and adherence to SOPs.
• Interest in data entry, documentation, and logistics.
• Willingness to make professional calls to clients/service providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments.
• Track shipments from suppliers and manufacturers.
• Support selection of transportation methods based on team guidance.
• Prepare and organize import documentation.
• Ensure documents are accurate and complete.
• Assist with document filing and sharing with teams/partners.
• Follow customs regulations and assist brokers with documentation.
• Support creation and update of internal SOPs.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm shipment details.
• Report shipment status to internal teams and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in gathering quotes and tracking shipping expenses.
• Document delays or issues and help with contingency planning.
