We are hiring for an underwriting-focused role handling loan applications, customer communications, and cross-team coordination to gather required documents.

You will analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess creditworthiness, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare underwriting recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in analyzing loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and documentation to assess creditworthiness.
• Ability to liaise with customers by phone and email to gather information.
• Understand business products and maintain accurate customer records.
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare underwriting reports and recommendations for approval/denial.
• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes affecting lending.

Responsibilities

• Process loan applications and verify documents to determine eligibility.
• Liaise with customers by phone and email regarding application status and required information.
• Coordinate with onshore team for information related to loan applications.
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other docs to assess risk and creditworthiness.
• Prepare underwriting reports and recommendations for approval or denial.
• Maintain organized loan files and contribute to process improvements.
