Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is a global outsourcer with 10,000 staff and 16+ years of experience delivering intelligent contact center and back-office services. We are hiring for an underwriting-focused role handling loan applications, customer communications, and cross-team coordination to gather required documents.

You will analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess creditworthiness, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare underwriting recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in analyzing loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and documentation to assess creditworthiness.
• Ability to liaise with customers by phone and email to gather information.
• Understand business products and maintain accurate customer records.
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare underwriting reports and recommendations for approval/denial.
• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes affecting lending.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

• Processing customer loan application forms and documents to determine eligibility.
• Liaise with customers by phone and email regarding the status of their application and for additional information required.
• Liaise with the onshore team for information and documents related to the loan application.
• Understanding all the business products.
• Updating account information and maintaining customer records.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analyze and verify loan applications, financial statements, credit reports, and other supporting documentation to assess creditworthiness and risk.
• Evaluate applicant's financial capacity, collateral, and repayment ability in accordance with established underwriting guidelines and policies.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with loan applications, escalating complex cases as needed to senior management.
• Communicate effectively with loan officers, borrowers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant lending regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.
• Prepare detailed underwriting reports and recommendations for approval or denial of loan applications.
• Maintain accurate and organized loan files and documentation throughout the underwriting process.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of underwriting processes and procedures.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors impacting the lending industry.
