BruntWork is seeking an exceptionally detail‑oriented Loan Funder & Post-Closing Specialist for a full-time remote role. You will manage warehouse line funding, verify high-value wires, and balance CDs and investor statements.

Proficiency in Arive LOS, WLS DirectConnect, QuickBooks, and Excel is essential. Responsibilities include reconciling funding, reviewing investor Purchase Advices, posting milestones, and handling post-closing trailing documents with a focus on accuracy and fraud

Formación

• 3+ years in mortgage funding, closing, or post-closing within a correspondent lender or mortgage banker environment funding on warehouse lines.
• Hands-on accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger balancing.
• Expert understanding of Closing Disclosures (CD), settlement statements, wire procedures, and investor Purchase Advice structures (price, SRP, interest, fees).
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, line-by-line reconciliations).
• Experience with loan origination systems (Arive preferred; Encompass accepted) and general ledger/accounting software (QuickBooks).
• Zero tolerance for detail errors when handling financial transactions, wire details, and legal documentation.
• Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication with title agents, warehouse lenders, investors, and internal leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Submit loan packages and FNMA 3.2 files through warehouse bank portals.
• Reconcile funding requests against final Closing Disclosures and settlement statements.
• Verify wire instructions with title companies and closing attorneys via verified callbacks, adhering to wire‑fraud prevention protocols.
• Track warehouse line dwell time and loan aging to minimize interest costs.
• Review investor Purchase Advices and reconcile loan details against Arive LOS and ledger.
• Post investor purchases and payoffs in warehouse portals and complete nightly settlement worksheets.
