Job summary

Pitch Black Group, an Australian engineering consultancy, seeks a Junior Process Engineer to join our remote Philippines-based team supporting mining and mineral processing studies and detailed design. You will contribute to PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing and process documentation, collaborating with Australian engineers.

The role is permanent and 100% remote, offering the chance to work from home while engaging with international projects and a fast-growing pipeline across Australia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 2+ years of process engineering experience.
• Experience on mining and mineral processing studies, FEED, and detailed design.
• Familiar with gravity separation, magnetic separation, flotation, and leaching (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Perform process design calculations and develop PFDs/P&IDs.
• Size and specify equipment and prepare process documentation.
• Run process simulations and assist feasibility studies.
• Contribute to brownfields and sustaining capital projects.
• Provide technical reviews and design verification.
