Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant accounting and analysis experience.
• Experience in preparing and interpreting internal financial reports using various data.
• Ability to analyze large volume of information and Excel proficiency is a key to this role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to provide meaningful and relevant analysis to decision makers.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.
• A strong work ethic, high level of initiative, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to work flexibly at times in accordance with business requirements. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in similar roles in medium-to-large-sized organizations is a preference.

Responsibilities

• Accurately gather, analyze and interpret financial and non-financial data used by Operations to support the effective delivery of objectives and services.
• Deliver a variety of reports, manage dashboards, and provide meaningful insights to Operations, including Fortnightly Labour Dashboards, Monthly Gross Profit and Loss analysis, Fortnightly Performance Report, and ad hoc analyses.
• Assist with Monthly Profit and Loss analysis and investigations by cost center, including analyzing Gross Profit by site and preparing commentary for Operations.
• Identify anomalies in accounting records (cost center miscoding, missed accruals etc.).
• Support monthly P&L reporting to internal stakeholders and ensure timelines.
• Analyze roster and timesheet performance using Rostering system and present insights.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly forecasts and monitor budget performance.
• Perform additional ad hoc tasks related to site performance, P&L reviews, and data analyses as required.
