Department: Asset Management & Operations
Reports To: Director of Operations
The Junior Financial Operations Analyst supports the Asset Management and Operations teams by ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of financial and operational data across the portfolio. This role is execution-focused and detail-oriented, with responsibilities that include financial reporting, data reconciliation, budget tracking, and preliminary financial analysis. The Analyst plays a key role in maintaining data integrity to support informed operational and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Data Analysis
- Generate, download, and maintain weekly and monthly financial and operational reports
- Compile and organize raw data into standardized Excel templates to monitor property performance and expense trends
- Support budget tracking and variance analysis across the portfolio
- Prepare clear, well-structured reports and presentations for internal review
- Financial Operations Support
- Conduct routine audits to ensure transactions and entries align with system records and established SOPs
- Coordinate with property managers and vendors to investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Support delinquency tracking processes and related reporting
- Assist with accounts payable reconciliation and invoice review
- Data Integrity & Systems Management
- Monitor and validate data synchronization between internal systems (e.g., Yardi, Coda)
- Support basic system administration tasks and incremental improvements to data analysis tools
- Maintain organized digital file structures and up-to-date documentation
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data manipulation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet recurring deadlines and follow tasks through to completion
- Working knowledge of AI-based tools for productivity and data analysis
Preferred
- Experience with Yardi, AvidXchange, or similar property management or ERP platforms
- Exposure to workflow automation tools such as Make.com, Zapier, or similar
- Experience in multifamily property management or real estate finance
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
Benefits and Compensation
- Salary: $1,500 per month
- Healthcare Stipend: Monthly stipend (USD)
- Paid Time Off: 10 days annually
- Public Holiday Flexibility: As an international contractor, you may observe either U.S. public holidays or the public holidays of your country of residence, up to a maximum of 11 holidays per year
