Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Junior Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Metro Manila with a remote work setup. You will support the finance and accounting team by maintaining accurate records, ensuring tax compliance, and aiding in reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Licensed CPA in the Philippines.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Basic understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L and balance sheets.
• Record financial transactions and perform vendor, bank, and account reconciliations.
• Assist in tax documentation for VAT, income tax, and regulatory filings.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules for internal/external audits and ensure internal controls compliance.
• Collaborate with finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.

Your Role

As a Junior Certified Public Accountant (CPA), you will support the finance and accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and assisting in financial reporting and analysis.

You Will

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system and perform vendor, bank, and account reconciliations
• Support the preparation of tax documentation for VAT, income tax, and other regulatory filings to ensure timely submission
• Maintain accurate financial records and schedules for internal and external audit requirements while ensuring compliance with internal controls
• Collaborate with the finance team in gathering data for budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
