Job summary

Hunt St Pty Ltd, a Philippines-based recruiter for Australian clients, seeks an Estimator/Contract Administrator as an independent contractor. The role focuses 70% on estimating and 30% on contract administration, pricing civil earthworks and tendering for domestic and international projects, with remote work from home and AU business hours alignment.

You'll work with management, builders, suppliers, and subcontractors to protect margins, manage variations, and maintain clear records from tender

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years’ relevant civil estimating, earthworks estimating or contract administration experience.
• Experience with civil construction, bulk earthworks, subdivisions or roadworks.
• Ability to read civil/structural/architectural drawings and BOQs.

Responsibilities

• Review tender invitations, drawings, BOQs, specs and site photos.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and rate build-ups for plant, labour, materials and costs.
• Maintain tender registers, pricing records and documentation.
• Prepare and administer purchase orders, variations, and final accounts.
• Track costs and flag margins or scope issues early.
• Support monthly claims, forecasting and project close-out.
