Job summary

Twoconnect is seeking a Joinery Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial fit-out and specialist joinery projects. You will review tender documentation, perform detailed quantity take-offs, and determine material and labour requirements to support tender submissions.

Responsibilities include calculating costs across materials, fabrication, installation and subcontracts, negotiating supplier pricing, and updating estimates with design changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree essential for the role.
• Minimum 5 years’ estimating experience in commercial fit-out or joinery.
• Ability to interpret architectural/interior drawings.
• Experience in sourcing quotations and negotiating pricing is required.
• Strong commercial awareness and accurate cost preparation.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review tender packs, drawings, specs to understand scope.
• Identify materials, finishes, joinery requirements.
• Complete quantity take-offs for joinery works.
• Calculate material, labour, fabrication, installation costs.
• Liaise with workshop teams and PMs to set labour hours.
• Enter data into estimating software and verify costs.
• Prepare cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
• Support handover to delivery teams.
