Job summary

Peak Support is seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to oversee the lifecycle of hardware and software assets in a fully remote setup across the Philippines. You will maintain accurate inventory, track licenses, manage deployments, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to forecast needs and budget for acquisitions.

You will also ensure software compliance, perform audits, optimize total cost of ownership, and document procedures while driving process automation and risk controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field preferred.
• Experience in asset management, IT support, or related roles is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation or CompTIA IT Asset Management (ITAM) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast asset needs and budget for acquisitions and replacements.
• Coordinate asset deployment/retrieval via tickets and work with vendors for physical deployment.
• Track asset status through the lifecycle from acquisition to redeployment or disposal; ensure proper configuration.
• Ensure software licensing compliance and conduct periodic audits to verify data accuracy.
• Analyze total cost of ownership and identify cost-saving opportunities with vendors.
• Document IT asset processes and enforce policies; automate workflows where possible.
• Support security measures and risk assessments for IT assets; protect against loss or unauthorized access.
• Generate reports on asset status for stakeholders and present findings as needed.
