Qualifications

• Experience with US commercial insurance plans and Medicaid.
• Experience handling insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare eligibility workflows and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits with commercial insurance and Medicaid.
• Initiate and process prior authorization requests per payer requirements.
• Track authorizations and follow through to resolution.
• Review patient information for nonprofit financial assistance eligibility.
• Support patient intake and enrollment, ensuring complete documentation.
• Assist with provider credentialing and payer enrollment as needed.
• Update patient records in AdvancedMD and prepare charts for appointments.
• Manage backlog cases and coordinate with internal teams.
