Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Medical Coder - Inpatient DRG (IPDRG) to analyze inpatient health records and assign MS-DRG/APR DRGs, POA, SOI/ROM indicators for accurate hospital reimbursement. This remote, day-shift role in Taguig requires a minimum of 2 years inpatient DRG coding and a Bachelor’s in allied health.

Qualifications

• Inpatient DRG coding experience required (min 2 years).
• Bachelor's degree in allied health or related field.
• Active CCS/CIC/CDIP or equivalent credential preferred.
• Proficient in HIPAA and coding ethics.

Responsibilities

• Review inpatient docs to assign ICD codes, MS-DRG, APR DRG, POA, SOI & ROM indicators.
• Identify HACs and PSIs to ensure accurate reimbursement.
• Communicate with providers when documentation is insufficient.
