Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Philippines-based HR & Compliance Officer to support onshore workers and maintain NDIS compliance. This remote independent contractor role aligns with AU business hours, with responsibilities across HR, governance, and documentation.

The ideal candidate manages confidential records, ensures regulatory adherence, and supports audits while coordinating rostering and onboarding for a growing support workforce.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR and compliance within disability or health services.
• Familiarity with NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory obligations.
• Proven ability to manage confidential HR documentation.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction of support workers.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, certifications, and docs.
• Monitor compliance checks (NDIS Worker Screening, police checks, first aid).
• Assist with rostering coordination and workforce planning.
• Support performance management and HR-related queries.
• Help maintain HR policies, procedures and documentation.
• Assist with governance, audits, and compliance reviews.
