Job summary

CrowdGen is seeking Independent Contractors for Project Lupin. You will listen to real audio recordings and produce precise, verbatim transcripts, capturing every utterance and nuance. Remote work lets you set your own schedule, with earnings tied to audio hours transcribed.

Pay is $20 per audio hour, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. Training and browser-based tooling will be provided to help you succeed in this project.

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in Hindi with awareness of regional accents and informal speech.
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to detail.
• Ability to produce verbatim transcripts including stutters and fillers.
• Experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics is an advantage.
• Comfortable using browser-based tools; reliable internet connection.
• Access to a laptop/desktop; mobile devices not supported.
• Available for minimum 10+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Verbatim transcription with 98%+ accuracy.
• Timestamping segments with minimal deviation.
• Speaker labeling for multi-person conversations.
• Event annotation for non-speech elements (laughter, background noise, etc.).
