NeoWork is seeking a dedicated call center representative to support patient-facing phone operations for a specialty neurology practice. You will handle inbound and outbound calls related to scheduling, authorization and eligibility, and billing inquiries, collaborating with the administrative team.

The role emphasizes HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, updating records in AdvancedMD, and escalations as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a healthcare call center, medical billing, or patient services role (preferred).
• Experience with insurance verification, eligibility checks, or revenue cycle processes (preferred).
• Clear, professional phone communication skills.
• For the bilingual profile: fluent Spanish and English, spoken and written.
• Comfortable working US business hours (EST).
• Reliable home office setup, stable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Answer and place patient calls covering scheduling, authorization/eligibility checks, and billing questions.
• Verify insurance coverage and process pre-authorization requests.
• Update patient records accurately in AdvancedMD.
• Escalate complex or sensitive cases to clinical or billing staff as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of all patient information.
• Document call outcomes and follow-up actions consistently.
