Job summary

Inclusively Remote is seeking a dedicated healthcare assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks for a private behavioral health practice. You’ll manage patient intake, insurance claims, and documentation in an established EHR system, working remotely with a quiet home setup.

This long-term role requires real healthcare background, empathy in patient interactions, and a proactive approach to streamlining processes and communications with insurance companies.

Qualifications

• Genuine hands-on healthcare experience is required.
• Experience with medical insurance processes, claims, and denials.
• Experience with patient intake and medical documentation (charts, letters, records).
• Familiarity with EHR systems and daily data entry.

Responsibilities

• Support intake by gathering patient information and scheduling initial appointments.
• Process prior authorizations and submit/track insurance claims; follow up on denials.
• Draft patient documents (diagnosis letters, ESA letters, work excuses) and maintain records in the EHR.
• Help develop internal policies and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate professionally with patients and coordinate with the practice owner.
