Job summary

Our client, a leading glass and glazing firm, seeks a Remote Estimator to join the pre-construction team. You will own the estimating process for mid-sized commercial bids ($150K–$500K) and support larger proposals ($2M–$5M+), working with senior leadership to drive accurate estimates.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in U.S. glazing estimating, proficiency with Bloom & Beam OST, and strong English communication. This full-time remote role follows U.S. Central Time hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated glass and glazing estimating experience on U.S. construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with estimating software Bloom & Beam OST or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial glass, glazing, and storefront systems.
• Manage end-to-end bid documentation and ensure compliance with bid requirements and local guidelines.
• Calculate labor costs, timelines, and logistics for mid-to-large projects, including high-rise considerations.
• Lead vendor outreach and RFQ processes with U.S. suppliers.
• Support pre-construction with submittals and RFIs for smooth handoff to operations.
• Utilize estimating software to maintain organized bid pipelines.
