Job summary

Hyre is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator for full-time, remote work. You will prepare accurate estimates, review drawings, and ensure consistency with company standards while working with senior estimators to manage margins and bid success.

Responsibilities include risk identification, bid support, and maintaining clear communications with operations, sales, and vendors across time zones. A dedicated home office and reliable internet are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating or related discipline.
• Experience with industry estimating software and takeoff tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, competitive estimates following company standards.
• Review drawings and specs to identify quantities, assumptions, and exclusions.
• Identify risks and escalate concerns to senior estimators or team leads.
• Support bid strategy and scope reviews with timely estimating input.
• Maintain documentation quality and cross-functional communication.
