Job summary

Hyremote is hiring an Accountant to join a growing healthcare accounting operation. The role covers full-cycle accounting for multiple facilities, including AP and payroll, with responsibilities from journal entries to month-end close.

You will work remotely with a schedule aligned to EST business hours and enjoy weekly salary payments along with preset salary growth. The candidate should be located in the Philippines and have hands-on experience with general ledger activities and financial

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle accounting including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Ability to review P&L and balance sheet activity for discrepancies and unusual items.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage Intacct or NetSuite and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Post cash transactions to the general ledger accurately.
• Code and enter invoices, manage AP reports and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Record payroll, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other recurring entries.
• Prepare receivables reports and follow up on collections as needed.
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts during month-end close.
• Maintain Excel schedules for balance sheet accounts (prepaids, liabilities, loans).
• Review facility-level P&L and balance sheet for inconsistencies and discrepancies.
