Job summary

TaskUs is seeking a Fraud and Risk Associate to manage fraud and cyber risks across campaigns. You will identify risks, implement preventative and detective controls, and monitor key controls with internal audit support.

You'll partner with operations and clients to strengthen security, conduct risk assessments, and produce reports for stakeholders. A background in audit or risk, with interest in certifications, is preferred. Work from home with onsite support as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years of audit and risk experience; at least one of those years focused on fraud prevention and detection.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Interest in industry-recognized fraud, audit or security certifications such as CFE, CIA or CISA.
• Creativity to align internal fraud controls with business needs and maintain efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Strong technical writing, documentation and communication skills.
• Understanding of enterprise, network, system and application security issues.
• Experience with DLP and fraud detection technologies.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to self-start projects.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential material with discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• BPO contact center experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and other risk management activities.
• Ensure alignment of security controls to regulatory standards.
• Investigate and assist in litigation as needed.
• Partner with operations and clients to strengthen security controls.
• Review for fraud risks and recommend detection and prevention controls.
• Complete assignments as directed by the Fraud Prevention and Audit team.
• Stay current with new fraudulent activities impacting TaskUs security.
• Recommend new technologies for fraud detection and prevention.
• Develop internal control and governance procedures to minimize fraud risk.
• Evaluate applications for separation of duties issues and internal control deficiencies.
• Provide reporting from continuous audit/monitoring initiatives.
• Generate comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Provide Site VPs with high-level risk landscape updates.
• Work with IT and InfoSec for security solutions and monitoring controls.
• Provide fraud incident response support and investigations.
• Participate in fraud mapping and continuous audit processes.
• Maintain and update system and process documentation; develop ad-hoc reports.
• Perform various other fraud and risk-related tasks.
• Perform necessary functions as needed by Management.
• Support associates and peer analysts as a team.
