Job summary

Twilio is hiring a Manager of Fraud Operations to lead a team focused on preventing fraud on Twilio’s platform. You will direct daily activities to meet SLAs, handle high-value incidents, and mentor the team on best practices. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and support to balance risk with customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of fraud, abuse or compliance in relevant sectors (eCommerce, FinTech, telecom).
• Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to leaders/stakeholders.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL, Looker, Tableau or similar data tools.
• Basic understanding of APIs and related technologies.
• Natural problem solver; uses data to drive decisions with sound business judgment.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders; strong project and process management.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of Twilio’s Fraud Operations organizations focused on platform fraud prevention.
• Direct day-to-day activities to ensure SLAs are met.
• Act as a point of contact for high-value customer incidents.
• Coach and mentor the team on fraud best practices and decisions.
• Partner with product, engineering and customer support to balance risk and customer experience.
