Job summary

Yuno is building payment infrastructure across Latin America. We are seeking a deeply technical Forward Deploy Engineer who can read API docs, debug webhooks, and close complex deals with technical stakeholders.

Based in Brazil, you will join the Commercial team and work on REST APIs, SDKs, tokenization, and payment orchestration to help prospects understand why our stack is the right fit for their business, while aligning technical demos with commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical role within payments or fintech.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and API testing tools (Postman, cURL).
• Understanding of payment industry protocols and security standards (PCI DSS, tokenization, 3DS, encryption).
• Strong communication and ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to understand customer's technical requirements and deliver tailored, code-level product demonstrations.
• Design and execute custom API integrations and proof-of-concept environments based on each client's tech stack and use cases.
• Respond to technical queries throughout the sales process – covering API architecture, authentication, webhooks, and data flows.
• Build and maintain sandbox environments, sample code, and Postman collections to accelerate prospect technical evaluation.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay field feedback on API design and developer experience and influence product roadmap decisions.
