Job summary

ConnectOS in the Philippines is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team. The role requires 2–3 years of accounting experience, solid bookkeeping knowledge, and CA/CPA qualification. You will monitor financial data, prepare EOFY recs, and support audits, ensuring accurate recording across P&L and Balance Sheet.

You will analyse financial trends to aid strategic decisions while maintaining data integrity. WFH options available; competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations.
• Excellent math skills with attention to detail.
• CA/CPA qualification required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Xero.

Responsibilities

• Gather and monitor financial data.
• Organise internal audits such as verification of sales and purchase invoices.
• Analyse financial trends to support company decisions.
• Prepare EOFY reconciliations for external tax accountant.
• Record, verify, consolidate, and enter transactions across P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Prepare, reconcile, and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries.
• Analyse data from multiple financial systems.
• Understand Australian GST compliance.
