Job summary

Core-VA Solutions is seeking a Finance & Operations Specialist to collaborate across finance, HR, and operations, supporting projects and executive-level tasks in a remote-friendly setup.

You will manage QuickBooks Online records, help with budgets and forecasting, and drive process improvements across departments while ensuring accurate financial reporting and confidential HR administration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, HR, or operations.
• Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills with financial reporting experience.
• Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage QuickBooks Online records across multiple entities, including AP/AR, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, aging, variance, and other financial reports.
• Support budgets, forecasts, cash flow planning, and budget-to-actual analysis.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, payroll, benefits, employee records, and HR administration.
• Identify inefficient processes and develop better workflows, SOPs, templates, dashboards, and automations.
• Help streamline finance, HR, and operational processes using tools like Microsoft 365, Excel, Power Automate, Asana, QuickBooks, SharePoint, and Teams.
