Job summary

EyeCareWorks LLC invites applicants for a fully remote EyeCare Virtual Assistant (scribe track) based in the Philippines. You will document real-time exams in the EMR for a U.S. practice, acting as the doctor’s second pair of hands and earning $7.00 USD per hour after placement.

No eye care experience is required; training is free (60+ hours) and you will obtain the EyeCareWorks Virtual Assistant Certificate before matching with a U.S. practice.

Qualifications

• Careful, fast and accurate typing.
• Strong written English and medical vocabulary.
• Comfort listening and writing at the same time.
• Attention to detail under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Document exams in real time in the practice's EMR while the doctor sees the patient.
• Record chief complaints, history, exam findings, assessments and plans accurately.
• Prepare charts before clinic and close open notes afterwards.
• Match the documentation to each doctor's preferences and to U.S. clinical standards.
• Keep patient information private and handle it under HIPAA rules.
