Job summary

BruntWork is seeking an Event Marketing & Digital Campaign Specialist to own day-to-day marketing activities, working directly with the founder to plan, promote, and build awareness for upcoming events. Role covers event planning, event promotion, social media management, email marketing, and community outreach.

The position supports live events and online conferences, with a focus on coordination, content creation, and outreach in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or event marketing.
• Experience promoting arts, theater, or community events.
• Hands-on social media management with organic content and paid Meta Ads campaigns.
• Experience creating email marketing campaigns and managing audiences.
• Strong writing and outreach copy skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
• Comfortable collaborating with a founder in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and promote live and online events including the annual signature event, online conference, and theater productions.
• Develop event marketing plans, promotional timelines, and comprehensive campaign calendars across relevant channels.
• Manage, design, and schedule organic content, captions, graphics, and event announcements across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Set up, manage, and monitor paid social media advertising campaigns, particularly through Meta Ads, providing updates on reach and engagement.
• Develop, segment, and distribute targeted email marketing campaigns to drive event registrations and subscriber engagement.
• Conduct targeted outreach and build relationships with arts organizations, schools, colleges, universities, and cultural networks.
• Maintain organized tracking records of outreach activities and partnerships.
